Einstein Bros Bagels launches limited-edition haircare range in US

Einstein Bros Bagels has released limited-edition haircare range Cheesy Shampoo and Wakin’ Bacon Conditioner.

These haircare products are intended to promote the restaurant chain’s limited-time Cheesy Wakin’ Bacon sandwich menu.

The shampoo and conditioner are available for $9.99 at EinsteinBros.com.

Einstein Bros Bagels senior vice-president of marketing, product, and innovation Kerry Coyne said: “What better way to start the day than with the delicious aroma of the new Cheesy Wakin’ Bacon sandwich from Einstein Bros Bagels.

“This is the ultimate breakfast apéritif, now our fans can shower themselves with mouth-watering scents, leaving them looking as incredible as they smell edible, all day long.”

This is not the first restaurant chain to launch beauty products as a marketing strategy to promote its food products.

The last few years have seen KFC launch Finger Lickin’ Good nail polishes and a chicken-scented sunscreen. Burger King also released its Flame-Grilled Fragrance that mimicked the aroma of its Whopper Burger.

Einstein Bros Bagels is part of the Einstein Noah Restaurant Group. It is known for Bruegger’s Bagels, Noah’s New York Bagels and Manhattan Bagel brands.

Einstein Bros Bagels has more than 700 outlets in 40 US states and the District of Columbia.
