Deals this week: Revlon, Glossier, Inter Parfums

Revlon has signed a licence agreement with All Saints Retail.

Founded in 1994, All Saints Retail is an apparel and accessories retailer based in the UK.

Under the agreemen, Revlon will introduce the retailer’s fragrance collection All Saints.

The transaction enables Revlon to develop, market and distribute its fragrances and ancillary products.

Glossier has secured $52m in a Series C funding round led by Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) and Index Ventures.

The latest round brings the total funding raised by Glossier to $86m.

Founded in 2014, Glossier is a skin and beauty products manufacturer based in the US. The company sells its products in the US, Canada and UK markets.

Glossier plans to invest the proceeds to improve the shopping experience of its customers.

Inter Parfums has entered a 15-year fragrance licence agreement with Guess.

To be effective from April 2018, the agreement will enable Inter Parfums to develop and distribute fragrances under the Guess brand.

Based in the US, Inter Parfums is a fragrance producer with a sales presence in more than 100 countries, while Guess is a global lifestyle brand.

Inter Parfums’ product portfolio includes Abercrombie & Fitch, Agent Provocateur, Coach, Anna Sui, bebe, Boucheron, Hollister, Jimmy Choo and Karl Lagerfeld.

Intercos has joined forces with Sumitomo Corporation and Summit Pharmaceuticals International to form a cosmetic original design manufacturing (ODM) joint venture (JV).

The JV will enable the firms to start research and development (R&D) activities to provide technical services to local clients. It will also open a store in Tokyo.

In addition, the companies intend to meet the growing needs of the health and beauty industry.

Established in 1972, Intercos is a global ODM firm engaged in the production of colour cosmetics, skincare products, active ingredients and toiletries. It has more than 430 clients worldwide.

The firm has 15 plants in Europe, the US, Brazil, China and Korea, with an overall production capacity of 15,000 bulk tons and more than 1.6 billion pieces.
