Deals this week: Goldman Sachs & Co, Delta Brands

Goldman Sachs & Co is purchasing 10,000,000 of Univar’s common stock shares from Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R).

The transaction will leave CD&R with 11,561,039 shares.

The deal represents 7.1% of Univar’s issued and outstanding shares.

Based in the US, Univar is a chemical and ingredients distributor and provider.

Delta Brands has acquired assets of Personal Care Products through a newly formed affiliate.

The acquisition will strengthen Delta Brands’ position in the personal care and household products market.

Both the companies involved in the acquisition are personal care and household products manufacturers based in the US.
