M&As this week: Isodiol International, Givaudan

Isodiol International has agreed to acquire BioSynthesis Pharma Group for $12.5m.

BioSynthesis supplies industrial hemp for the medical, nutraceutical, food and cosmetic industries.

Scheduled for completion on or before 1 April 2018, the transaction will enable Isodiol to expand its operational footprint in the UK and the rest of Europe, as well as Asia and South and Central America.

Isodiol International has agreed to purchase 70% stake in Hankang (Yunnan) Biotech for an undisclosed value.

The firm has also agreed to acquire Purodiol.

Scheduled for completion by 01 April 2018, the acquisition will enable Isodiol to enter new foreign markets.

Givaudan has agreed to acquire French fragrances store Expressions Parfumees for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Switzerland, Expressions Parfumees produces a range of fragrances for use in perfumes, cosmetics, home fragrances, personal hygiene, soaps, detergents, and other industrial products.

The transaction is scheduled for completion by 30 June 2018.
