Austria’s Croma expands skincare product portfolio

Austrian firm Croma-Pharma (Croma) has expanded its skincare product portfolio with the launch of the highly concentrated liquid skin mask.

Called pure HA, the new liquid skin mask contains 1.8% of hyaluronic acid to smooth, moisturise and revitalise the skin.

It will also boost the skin’s natural hydration, the company claims.

Hyaluronic acid is one of the key ingredients in producing skincare products, as it has the properties to refresh the skin while strengthening its natural moisture content.

Croma managing director Andreas Prinz said: “With pure HA, we have developed a skincare product based on hyaluronic acid that complies with the high standards of our medical devices, complements our existing portfolio perfectly and underlines Croma’s claim as an expert in hyaluronic acid.”

The Austrian firm said that its new skin mask has been produced using ingredients, which are used in medical and aesthetic practices.

With the launch of pure HA, Croma intends to offer pharma-grade hyaluronic acid to skincare used at home.

The company further added that its new product pure HA comes with a silky, lightweight texture and is suitable for all skin types and makes skin feel nourished and radiant.

Croma’s pure HA is said to have been produced in a sterile glass container with an objective to bring a pharmaceutical approach to skincare at home.

Established in 1976, Croma is an Austrian family-owned company, which is engaged in the production of hyaluronic acid syringes for the fields of medical aesthetics, ophthalmology and orthopaedics.

It currently operates 12 international sales companies and distributes its products in more than 70 countries.
