Arvato expands fulfilment service for Benefit Cosmetics into Britain

US-based makeup brand Benefit Cosmetics has expanded its partnership with supply chain and e-commerce provider Arvato SCM Solutions.

Benefit Cosmetics will use the Arvato Distribution Center in Hams Hall near Birmingham and additional local distribution centres to provide quick delivery times.

The firm’s global ecommerce and customer relations management (CRM) vice-president Cindy Shen said: “With the addition of UK-based fulfilment, Benefit will be able to deliver our fun, laughter and instant beauty solutions more seamlessly to that market.”

Arvato SCM solutions consumer products president Nils Klose said: “We are very happy to provide local services also in Great Britain, along with supplying Germany and the US.

“For six years, Arvato SCM Solutions has been responsible for several logistics processes of the Webshop in both the European and US markets for this well-established beauty corporation.

“Services entail logistics, international transport management, returns management, as well as premium services, such as personalised greeting cards and gift-wrapping.

Arvato has been providing exclusive logistics services for Europe from its distribution centre in Dortmund, Germany, while a centre in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, supplies logistics services for the US market.
