KDC/ONE to acquire Swallowfield manufacturing business for £35m

Knowlton Development (KDC/ONE), a North American contract manufacturer and custom formulator for the beauty, health and personal care brands, signed a conditional agreement to acquire the manufacturing business and associated assets of UK firm Swallowfield for £35m.

The UK company is involved in the development, formulation and manufacture of products for personal care and beauty brands.

The acquisition is subject to adjustment for the working capital of the manufacturing business at the date of completion.

American multinational cosmetics company Revlon introduced a new lipstick collection inspired by the Amazon Original series, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.

Dubbed The Marvelous Super Lustrous Collection, the limited-edition line-up is available in two curated lipstick sets.

Take The Stage Reds is the first set that features three tones, Fire & Ice, Certainly Red, and Cherries in the Snow.

The second Stand-Up Nudes set also comprises of three shades Pink Truffle, Blushing Mauve and Rum Raisin.

CoTZ launches new mineral sunscreen for kids

CoTZ introduced a new mineral sunscreen for use on the super-sensitive skin of babies, toddlers and kids aged more than six months.

Known as CoTZ Kids Pure Botanicals SPF 45, the new broad-spectrum sunscreen protection features a plant-based formula and reflects away harmful UVA-UVB rays from penetrating the skin.

CoTZ stands for Contains Only Titanium and Zinc and was created in 2002 by a plastic surgeon. It is also known as the Healthier Sunscreen.

It is claimed that all products are free from parabens, sulfates, phthalates, cruelty, gluten, DEA and dye.

The product ranges can be used by all irrespective of their age, gender and ethnicity.
