Pitney Bowes optimises e-commerce platform of Adore Beauty

Global technology company Pitney Bowes has globally optimised e-commerce site of Australian cosmetics retailer Adore Beauty.

This move brings their brands and cosmetics retailed through the online site of Adore Beauty to shoppers around the world.

This is a part of the cosmetics retailer's international expansion strategy and aims at providing its customers a borderfree as well as localised online shopping experience.

Pitney Bowes' cross border e-commerce offering supports the end-to-end technology and services platform to attract new custumers, offer a localised shopping experience, handle payments and landed costs as well as ensure safe and efficient delivery.

Adore Beauty founder and chief executive officer Kate Morris said: “Adore Beauty is already Australia’s leading online shopping destination for beauty products and cosmetics and, this year, we sought to expand our footprint globally by partnering with Pitney Bowes.

"Through this partnership, we are able to offer thousands of our wonderful products to more than 150 countries and territories thanks to the technology, which offers a seamless localized experience to customers."

An online survey conducted last year by Pitney Bowes showed that customers prefer online retailers who provide personalised experiences, and quality products.

Pitney Bowes’ cross border solutions are available as part of the Pitney Bowes Commerce Cloud, a commerce enabler, providing access to solutions, analytics and APIs.
