Estée Lauder Companies announces new board members

Estée Lauder Companies has increased the size of its Board of Directors to 17 members with the appointment of Jennifer Hyman and Jennifer Tejada.

The directors have also joined the company’s Audit Committee.

Hyman is the co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of wardrobe rental start-up Rent the Runway, which rents apparel and accessories to women from more than 500 designer brands.

Rent the Runway offers its service both on-demand and through a subscription. It has nine million members and 1,200 employees.

Hyman also served as business development director at global talent management company IMG.

Since 2016, Tejada was CEO of digital operations management platform PagerDuty. She has more than 25 years of experience in supporting the growth of multinational companies.

At PagerDuty, Tejada had a major role in doubling revenue generation and increasing customer portfolios to include more than 10,000 businesses, as well as expanding into markets such as Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific.

In addition, Tejada held the role of president and CEO at software company Keynote Systems.
