Walgreens and Judy Travis create cosmetic bag line

US-based pharmacy retailer Walgreens has collaborated with YouTube personality Judy Travis to launch a cosmetic bag line.

The new line-up features six cosmetic bags, extending Travis’ personal brand, which will be retailed at Walgreens in-store and online.

The bag collection includes Double Zip Organizer Floral, Round Top Marble, Train Case Navy Gold, Triple Purse Kit Navy Gold, Weekender Manila Pink and Organiser Manila Pink.

Travis said: “This is a project we’ve been working on for over a year now and I’m excited to see the collection available at Walgreens.

“Some of the designs are inspired by my Filipino roots, incorporating the smooth bamboo and the national flower, the Sampaguita (aka white jasmine).

“The other designs are timeless with a hint of my favourite metal, gold! I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I enjoyed designing them!”

With classic floral and marble patterns, the new collection features colours such as navy and pink.

Walgreens group vice-president and general merchandise manager Lauren Brindley said: “Between her loyal fan base and classic style, we are thrilled to carry these exclusive designs at Walgreens and this collaboration is just another example of how Walgreens continues to deliver new and exciting brands to give our beauty customers more reasons to shop our store.”

Walgreens offers beauty products such as makeup, skincare, fragrances, haircare, professional hair tools and nail products. Established in 1901, Walgreens operates 8,100 drug stores in 50 US states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
