Deals this week: ImmuDyne, Deinove

ImmuDyne has sold its yeast beta glucan manufacturing business for $0.85m.

As per the transaction, ImmuDyne’s president and CEO Mark McLaughlin will sell 2.80 million shares of Immudyne common stock to a third-party.

Based in the US, ImmuDyne is a manufacturer and distributor of nutraceutical and cosmeceutical products.

The transaction allows ImmuDyne to expand its business and introduce new products.

Deinove and Hallstar’s Oléos have formed a partnership to develop a new natural cosmetic active ingredient.

Under the partnership, the firms will combine the properties of Deinove’s bacteria with Oléos’ Oleo-Eco-Extraction technology.

Oleos will use active strains from Deinove’s catalogue and apply its extraction process to the bacteria with Deinove’s optimised strain production to create the new natural ingredient.

The new cosmetic active ingredient is scheduled to be released by the end of 2018.

Based in France, Deinove is a producer of high-value compounds from rare bacteria, while US-based Oléos supplies bioactive ingredients.
