Amron unveils water fountain toothbrush to make rinsing easy

US-based Amron Experimental has unveiled a new concept toothbrush that combines brushing and rinsing together.

The new brush, Rinser Brush, features a channel in its handle that takes water from the faucet to create a steam of water, thereby providing a new way to get water into the mouths for rinsing out toothpaste suds after brushing.

With the water fountain enabled through the handle, the brush also helps prevent the user to put the head into the sink to gargle their mouths, the company said.

Rinser Brush is expected to avoid unnecessary purchase of disposable cups and the use of glass to wash or even take up the counter space.
According to Amron Experimental, all that the user needs to do is to set the direction of the fountain where he wants the water to be.

The new toothbrush’s design also features GreenerStep Snap Replacement heads, which makes it convenient to the user to change only the bristles when they turn old and retain the brush for a long time without buying a new one frequently.

Amron said that the new concept toothbrush will be priced at $34.99, and on preorder it will be offered for $22.

The new concept toothbrushes, which will replace the similar type brushes launched earlier, are expected to be made available from November 2012.

Amron Experimental was started by Scott Amron in 2007, as his one man design firm, and engineering atelier for selling original proof-of-concept prototypes as limited edition design-art.
