Q Research Solutions introduces new fragrance evaluation tool

Consumer product research company Q Research Solutions has introduced the qPOD evaluation system, a new fragrance evaluation system that is said to improve the testing effectiveness and dependability of fragrances.

The firm said the new technology gives the results of levels of accuracy and quality control of fragrances when incorporated with fragrance manufacturing technology, reports cosmeticsdesign.com.

According to the US-based firm, the new patented testing technology has been developed to prevent the cross-adulteration of fragrances, which allow a steady number of different scents to be evaluated without the issue of having to neutralise the system to test different fragrance batches.

The technology aims to give the results related to the fragrance strength and character that can be systematically maintained during the testing process, making it easier to research specific areas, such as endurance, claims substantiation, benchmarking, product formulation and stink reduction.
