M&As this week: The Hut Group, Yellow Wood Partners

The Hut Group has completed an acquisition of Beauty Trend Holding to further extend its international reach.

Based in the UK, The Hut Group is an online health and beauty retailer and brand owner, whereas Beaty Trend Holding is a beauty box subscription services provider based in Germany.

The acquisition was made from Rocket Internet SE and Investment AB Kinnevik.

Yellow Wood Partners has acquired Freeman Beauty, which is based in the US.

Freeman Beauty manufactures and distributes beauty care products.

The acquisition was made from US-based private equity firm Champlain Capital Management.
