Makeup artist Tanisha Burr and Makeup Squared open second boutique

Makeup artist Tanisha "Tee" Burr and her Makeup Squared have announced the opening of their second boutique in Austin, Texas.

Makeup Squared, a cosmetic line made for women of colour, has now a new address at 7901 Cameron Road, Austin, Texas.

Burr had earlier teamed up with other cosmetic companies such as L’Oreal, MAC, Makeup Forever, HP, and Dell.

She has been featured in publications including VIBE Magazine, Gloss Magazine, Texas Gates Magazines, Elite Style magazine, Houston Chronicle and Guardian Newspaper.

Among her clients are musical artist Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child, Trinity 57, Slim Thug, UGK, Paul Wall, George Foreman, Marion Barber, video vixens Esther Baxter, Nicole Rica, and Lyric.

Burr after years of testing many cosmetic lines for women of colour felt disgruntled.

She then decided to come with her own creation Makeup Squared to plug this gap, and launched a line of makeup and skincare products.

Houston-based cosmetic line Makeup Squared is a cosmetic line that can be used by women of every ethnicity and includes lip gloss, palettes, eye shadow, eyeliner, professional-quality brushes, foundations and skin care products.
