UK male toiletries sector to see 4.6% growth in CAGR during 2007–2017: Report

The UK male toiletries sector is expected to register a steady growth in volume and value, growing at a CAGR of 4.6% during 2012 – 2017, according to a new report by Canadean Health & Beauty.

The report, titled ‘Market Focus: Trends and Developments in the Male Toiletries Sector in the UK’, revealed that in terms of volume the segment is expected grow at a CAGR of 3.3% during 2007 to 2012.

Men’s disposable razors will continue to lead the UK’s male toiletries market in terms of growth.

The once niche after shave & cologne market is set to record an annual growth rate of 4.25% in terms of US dollars.

Male Toiletries consumption in the UK is led by financially better off and time poor men, while older consumers are the least frequent users of male toiletry products when compared with other age groups.

Sales in this segment will be driven by factors such as brand loyalty, marketing, and packaging innovation.
