Yankee Candle launches Fragrance Finder app to identify fragrance match

Yankee Candle, a US-based manufacturer and retailer of scented candles, candleholders, accessories, and dinnerware, has unveiled a new app Fragrance Finder.

The new app has been designed to assist in identifying a perfect fragrance match besides helping customers to explore gift ideas for friends and family.

The app will take the customers through a series of questions that are drawn based on their lifestyle preferences and personality traits to detect their perfect fragrance family match.

On completion of the quiz, the app will present customers with tailored fragrances from their preferred fragrance family consisting of Fresh, Fruit, Floral, Food & Spice or Festive fragrances.

Apart from displaying a QR code to direct customers to the Yankee Candle page and find their preferred fragrance on completing the quiz, the app will also be promoted in stores using A4 strut cards and postcards.

The app which will be hosted on the Yankee Candle UK Facebook page and its website will be available in French, Italian and German languages including English.

Yankee Candle has a 42-year history of offering distinctive products and marketing them as affordable luxuries and consumable gifts.

The company sells its products through a North American wholesale customer network, more than 500 company-owned and operated retail stores, direct mail catalogues, and an internet website.
