Estée Lauder Companies has acquired fragrance brand By Kilian

Estée Lauder Companies has acquired By Kilian, a Paris-based fragrance brand for an undisclosed amount.

Established in 2007 by Kilian Hennessy, By Kilian’s products are sold in over 40 countries worldwide – primarily in North America, Europe and the Middle East.

The products are sold through immersive freestanding stores, select department stores and perfumeries.

By Kilian’s current product offerings include fragrances, candles and other accessories, as well as exclusive collections available in certain regions.

In this deal, BNP Paribas served as financial advisor to The Estée Lauder Companies, while Lowenstein Sandler, Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co and Arendt & Medernach served as legal counsel.
