Ulta Beauty to sell Drybar’s hair styling products in US

US-based chain of salons Drybar is to launch Ulta Beauty’s signature line of hair styling products across the country under a partnership.

Under the deal, Drybar’s 37 professional hair styling products and tools will be available in 400 selected Ulta Beauty stores in the US and on Ulta.com throughout April and May.

The product range being sold through the Ulta Beauty stores include Drybar’s buttercup blow dryer, detox dry shampoo, Triple Sec 3-in-1, and other new products scheduled to launch through the end of the year.

Drybar’s other collection include Hot Toddy Heat & UV Protectant, Half Pint Round Brush, 3-Day Bender Curling Iron and others.

Drybar founder Alli Webb said: "As a longtime client of Ulta Beauty myself, I’m so excited to bring our full line of products and tools to join the incredible assortment at Ulta Beauty.

With the new collaboration, Drybar aims to expand its market share in the hair styling sector.

Ulta Beauty merchandising senior vice-president Julie Tomasi said: "Ulta Beauty continues a winning track record of offering access to the most sought after brands, and this launch reflects our on-going commitment to offer premium brands to our guests."

As of January this year, Ulta Beauty was operating 874 retail stores across 48 states in the US. The company also distributes its products through its website.
