Lily Rose Depp appointed as new face for Chanel’s No 5 L’Eau perfume

French luxury brand Chanel has appointed Lily Rose Depp as the face of its new No.5 L’Eau perfume, which will be launched in September.

With this announcement, Depp will join the list of former ambassadors of the brand, including Nicole Kidman, Marilyn Monroe and Gisele Bundchen, reported Euronews.com.

Chanel No.5 L’Eau fragrance is created by Olivier Polge, an in-house perfumer.

The 16-year old actress was the face of Chanel’s Pearl eyewear collection last September.

Her mother, Vanessa Paradis, was also the face of the brand’s Rouge Coco lipstick.

Chanel was quoted by the Belfasttelegraph.co.uk as saying, "She (Lily-Rose) embodies her generation and its values of freedom and boldness to perfection."

Lily Rose Depp will be seen in three upcoming films, including Yoga Hosers, Planetarium and The Dancer.
