Deals this week: Marine Cosmetics, Fulcrum Venture India LLP

Marine Cosmetics is to be acquired by semiconductor testing equipment manufacturer Korea Display System in a KRW11.4bn ($9.59m) deal.

The transaction will be funded by Korea Display System’s capital reserves, treasury shares disposal and rights issue.

Under the agreement, an estimated KRW7.98bn ($6.73m) will be furnished by Korea Display System in cash, while KRW570m ($470,000) and KRW2.85bn ($2.39m) respectively will be paid in treasury and notes.

Fulcrum Venture India LLP will sell beauty and cosmetics company Richfeel Health and Beauty Private Limited in a deal expected to close by the end of March next year.

Richfeel Health and Beauty is engaged in hair care, beauty, fitness and personal care solutions. The range of personal care products offered by the company include shampoos, creams, facial kits, cleansers, oils, lotions, conditioners, moisturisers, nourishers, styling gels and creams.
