Sabbatical Beauty to launch Splash collection in US

Sabbatical Beauty is to launch a 19-piece summer collection titled Splash this month.

Designed to add glow to the skin in summers, the products under Splash include a serum made of five types of ginseng and a tea tree and volcanic ash anti-acne serum.

Its Snail Serum includes snail extract as an ingredient.

Other products include a Sakekasu mask, which is a wash-off mask made from the lees leftover from fermenting sake. Sake lees have skin brightening properties and is used in Japan.

Its Blueberry & Cream mask contains 51% blueberry extract.

Splash also includes a Red Wine pressed serum, which is also a moisturiser. This product has four types of red wine extracts, and its strong concentration of resveratrol helps to tackle anti-ageing and redness.

After Sun facial balm is made from fermented sea kelp, aloe vera, calendula and centella asiatica.

During testing phase, it has been found that the balm helped improve sunburns overnight, minimise peeling, and calm mosquito bites.

Sabbatical Beauty was founded by Adeline Koh, who was an associate professor of literature at Stockton University.
