US Kenneth Cole launches new Black Bold fragrance

US-based Kenneth Cole Productions has launched a new fragrance, Black Bold, which is designed to add a new dimension to the brand’s perfume collection.

In order to develop Black Bold, Kenneth Cole collaborated with Firmenich’s perfume expert Harry Fremont.

The newly launched fragrance features citrus and herbal tones, rounded out with a blend of ground nutmeg and a touch of lotus flower.

It also has a wood and leathery musks finish and is packed in a sleek, leather-like wrapped bottle.

Kenneth Cole Productions chairman and chief creative officer Kenneth Cole said: "For more than 30 years, the company has embraced the essence of New York, its boldness, its energy, and its diversity.

"I wanted Black Bold to do just that; to celebrate the confident individuals who are the protagonists in their own personal stories of resilience, optimism, and ambition."

The company also noted that the new fragrance is inspired by the fearless spirit of New York.

The new fragrance will be available at Kenneth Cole stores, KennethCole.com, Macy's, Macys.com, and other retailers beginning next month.

Kenneth Cole Productions, owned by American designer Kenneth Cole, produces modern, functional, clothing, shoes, and accessories under various brand names such as Kenneth Cole New York, Kenneth Cole Reaction and Unlisted, as well as footwear under the Gentle Souls brand.

The company also grants several third party licences to produce men's and women's apparel, fragrances, watches, jewellery, eyewear, and other accessory categories, including children's footwear.
