Mary Kay launches app for sales representatives

US-based direct sales company that sells cosmetics products Mary Kay has introduced a digital app that serves as a virtual assistant for its agents.

Called myCustomers+, the app provides several benefits to representatives, as well as enabling the company to gather information on how representatives are selling its products and how many products have been sold, reported Cosmeticsdesign.com.

The app comes with functionalities comprising mobile ordering, inventory management, label scanning, reported the website.

Mary Kay has already launched two apps for consumers – the Mary Kay Virtual Makeover App and the Mary Kay eCatalog App.

Just as a paper catalogue, the app is intended for shoppers to browse products. This app also enables them to share products on social platform.

Mary Kay Virtual Makeover App comes with several features, including virtual hairstyling, beauty mirror, social and email sharing, etc.

Established over 50 years, Mary Kay has over 3.5 million independent beauty consultants and it generates $4bn in annual sales.

Its brands are sold in over 35 markets across the world.
