Canfield Beauty introduces new skin imaging technology

US-based imaging technology developer Canfield Scientific’s beauty initiative has introduced new handheld mobile imaging device NEXA to enhance retail beauty experience.

The new omnichannel imaging device can be used independently or along with its complementary booth system.

It enables beauty consultants and executives to gain initial engagement and maintain long-term relations with customers by analysing and identifying eight different skin characteristics, including wrinkles, pores, skin texture, subsurface reddening, and brown spots. The technology provides high-quality images and offers personal product recommendations calculated by the firm’s algorithm.

The solution provides retailers with access to the generated data across customers, stores, and regions to facilitate a complete analysis of the brand.
