M&As this week: Unilever, Godrej Consumer Products Limited

Unilever NV has announced the acquisition of Blueair AB, a Swedish supplier of mobile indoor air purification technologies and solutions. 

Blueair will retain its existing brand name and operate in Sweden, China, US, Japan, South Korea and India post the acquisition.

Godrej Consumer Products Limited is to acquire Hair Credentials Zambia Ltd, a hair extension and haircare services based in Zambia.

A personal care and household products manufacturer based in India, Godrej also formed a joint venture (JV) with Darling Group Holdings.

The JV will form a new company called Weave Senegal to manufacture and market haircare products in Senegal.
