Beautycounter makes key changes in executive and strategy leadership

Beautycounter's founder and CEO Gregg Renfrew said: “As a fast-growth company, our past year has been focused on careful executive recruiting and we are thrilled with the proven senior executives joining our team, as well as the strategic business leaders supporting them.”

Joining as chief financial officer, Anthony Prudhomme will focus on the company's strategic and financial plans, as well as growth of the safer cosmetics and skincare category across all channels.

Prudhomme has vast international executive experience, which includes working with Jafra Cosmetics, Deloitte, Beyond Meat, and Dole Foods.

Former Red Bull operations head Robert Steere is taking over as the new head of operations. He has most recently worked as vice-president of Dermalogica. He will be developing the supply chain, inventory planning, manufacturing, and distribution.

Xavier Ormancey joined the company as head pf product development, while Raj Chand will be sourcing manager. While Ormancey carries experience in product development at L'Oréal Paris, Chanel Parfums & Beauté, Chand brings his global expertise in botanical and non genertically modified (GMO) sourcing.

Leaving the company after five years of service is the current head of Environmental Health and Safety Mia Davis.

Headquartered in Santa Monica, Beautycounter develops and distributes around 100 products in the skincare, colour cosmetic, personal care, and advanced anti-aging categories.
