International Flavors & Fragrances joins World Economic Forum

US-based producer International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) has become the first of its kind to join the World Economic Forum.

IFF's chairman and CEO Andreas Fibig said: “As pioneers of the senses for more than 127 years, we embrace this unique opportunity to exchange ideas with other leading organisations who are interested in making positive, lasting changes in society.

“This collaboration with the forum aligns with IFF’s Vision 2020 strategy, which underscores how we as a company and businesses in general can innovate in the areas of artistry, science, technology, and sustainability to produce positive results for both business and society.”

IFF has become the first flavours and fragrances company to join the forum. The company claims it focuses on research and development platforms and sustainability to produce quality products.

Founded in 1958, most of the fragrances and flavours IFF produces are marketed globally. It is based in New York City and has creative, sales, and manufacturing facilities in 29 countries.
