Sally Hansen to launch Colour Therapy nailcare collection

US-based cosmetics brand Sally Hansen has unveiled its new collection of nailcare products Colour Therapy, which includes a polish, top coat, and cuticle oil.

Colour Therapy consists of natural argan, acai, and evening primrose oil designed to condition weak, dry nails. Argan oil contains significant levels of unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E, while evening primrose oil contains essential fatty acids and Acai berry oil is rich in omega-3, 6, and 9.

Colour Therapy nail polish has a patented micro-delivery system to provide an argan oil-enriched formula. It does not require a base coat, enabling direct contact of the oils to the nail. In addition to nutritional benefits, it offers 10 days of fade-proof, chip-resistant wear with a shiny finish.

This can be further enhanced by using the top coat, which provides extended wear by sealing the colour to prevent fading. The polish will be available in various shades of rich tones, pinks, corals, and nudes.

The Colour Therapy collection is expected to be available in US stores from December with a suggested retail price of $8.99.
