Nu Skin Enterprises acquires ingredient maker 3i Solutions

New York-based anti-aging skincare products manufacturer Nu Skin Enterprises has acquired an Ohio-based ingredient manufacturing firm 3i Solutions.

3i Solutions develops and manufactures ingredients for consumer markets using proprietary encapsulation technologies.

The acquisition is expected to help Nu Skin use 3i Solutions’ technologies, research and processes to create new product forms and increase the performance of its formulations.

With over  three decades of experience, 3i Solutions makes use of formulations that are water based and leverages its encapsulation technology to improve absorption of nutritional ingredients, extend shelf-life, and more.
