Mellissom partners with Moida for global distribution of skincare products

Mellissom, a cosmetics brand of Ipia Cosmetics, has partnered with South Korean distributor Moida for the supply of its skincare products in the global cosmetics market.

Targeting women, the Mellissom products are sold under the slogan, “the sweet gift for me”. The brand claimed that its products are safe for use on sensitive skin.

Mellissom’s mask pack products are made using a vegan-certified fabric.

Moida began exporting Mellissom’s ‘Toning Up Ampoule Mask’, which features a material certified by The Vegan Society of the UK.

Toning Up Ampoule Mask is not made of any animal-derived ingredient or tested on animals, claimed the beauty brand.

It features plant ingredients and does not contain 20 substances harmful to the skin.

Furthermore, one sheet of mask pack contains a bottleful of functional ampoule, which helps to keep skin moisturised and smooth.

The cosmetics brand announced its plans to continue launching products that are safe for use on troubled skin whilst contributing towards protecting nature.

South Korea is one of the world’s leading exporters of beauty products. Earlier this month, the Korea Cosmetic Association (KCA) and Korea Packaging Recycling Cooperative (KPRC) launched a new recycling programme to enable cosmetics firms reach their target of recycling 10% of cosmetic packaging by 2025. The recent years have seen consumer demand grow for greener packaging.

In September 2020, Korea Ginseng (KGC) launched Donginbi, a Red Ginseng skincare solution on online shopping website Amazon.

The brand was created in 1899 based on the philosophy of creating Korean Red Ginseng for external use.

During the same month of last year, STB International, which was established by Korea’s colour cosmetics New Product Development (NPD) experts, announced its plans to venture into the US cosmetics private labelling market.
