Deals this week: Farouk Systems and Shiseido Group

Farouk Systems and LG Household and Health Care have announced the formation of joint venture (JV) LG Farouk.

Farouk Systems is a haircare company based in the US, while LG is a consumer products company in South Korea.

The JV will establish a manufacturing facility in South Korea to support distribution channels in Asia and develop new products through the combined expertise of the companies.

In addition, LG's skincare products will be distributed by Farouk Systems through its distribution channels in the salon industry.

Shiseido Group has announced the signing of a product supply contract with Cosmax.

Shiseido Group is a cosmetic products producer based in Japan, while Cosmax is a cosmetics original development manufacturer (ODM) in Korea.

As part of the contract, Cosmax will supply skincare and colour cosmetic products to Shiseido.
